TypeI-Defect is in the MEMBRANOUS SEPTUM
Paramembranous / Perimembranous defect or Infracristal, Subaortic, conoventricular)

TypeII- Defect is seen in the MUSCULAR SEPTUM
Inlet,trabecular, central, apical, marginal or swiss-cheese type

TypeIII- Defect is seen in the OUTLET SEPTUM
Supracristal,subpulmonary,infundibular or conoseptal

Septal deficiency –AVseptal defect (AVcanal)
